Floyd Mayweather Bodyguard calls for a rematch: which Japanese Fighter face plants him?

Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard Ray Sadeghi, known as Jizzy Mack, encountered Koji Tanaka on his boss’s recent undercard. Regardless, Ray Sadeghi, the long-term bodyguard of the Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, was knocked out, but he is still hoping the pair can rematch sooner or later.

Jizzy Mack agreed to an open weight clash with the lightweight kickboxer, whereas the employer, Mayweather taking care of this challenge quickly, has no idea whether it would work. Holding a massive weight advantage in the fight, Sadeghi had lost the stamina to compete with a combat specialist. Jizzy Mack agreed on a loose weight conflict with the lightweight kickboxer. Therefore, the battle was halted before the video went viral.

 Jizzy Mack lost the lightweight

After the loss, fans started stating that Mayweather should hire a new bodyguard after Sadeghi’s defeat. One said, “How can Jizzy Mack protect Floyd Mayweather when he can’t protect himself in the ring with lightweight.” Tanaka fights in the 9lb lightweight division, while Sadeghi usually weighs over 14 STONE. That means he went through FIVE STONE weight disadvantage, but it did not matter much.

Tanaka knocked out Sadeghi in the third round by using his brutal left hook. But still, Ray wants a rematch. While talking to World Boxing News, Sadeghi said, “I want to thank RIZIN and my boss Floyd Mayweather for giving me this opportunity to be in this kind of magnitude and to fight. It was a great match. I want to run it back. Because I felt like I had him. But I got tired in the third round, and my hands dropped. He caught me with a good shot, and we can run it back.”

Later that night, Mayweather, 45, knocked out Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, 30, in two rounds of his latest exhibition. A day later, he announced one more presentation with YouTuber Deji, 25, in Dubai.

Will Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard battle once more?

Sadeghi would not acknowledge that he underrated a higher fighter while discussing efficiency. Sadeghi said, “It was an important match. I need to rerun it. As a result, I felt like I had him. However, I received drained without the third spherical, and my arms dropped. He caught me with a perfect shot, and we can rerun it.”

Sadeghi also confirmed that he would return to the ring again in additional contents, with the highlight style.

Experience that Sadeghi gained

For Jizzy, “It’s been an incredible experience! Thank you for your support, passion, and energy; you guys kept me going.” He added, “I want to thank everyone who supported me. Whether you know it or not, this was my first professional boxing fight. I have dreamt of fighting in the ring professionally. So, this dream of mine came to fruition with the help of my father, the lord, RIZIN, and my best friend/ boss Floyd “Money” Mayweather.”

Further, he added, “I want you all to know there is more to come. I cannot wait to share it with you all. Tokyo, I am here. I encourage everyone to look ahead to the future and believe not only in their father but in themselves. I came from nothing and used to steal food for my family to eat. Now I am bringing forth energy of love, abundance, and success. I choose faith over fear! And I encourage everyone to believe and never let their dreams go. If I can do it, you can do it!”

Viral video protection

Reacting to a few of the surrounding negativity, when people were saying that a heavyweight was misplaced and to a lot smaller fighter, Jizzy added, “When you hit a sure age, you change into completely unimpressed by a variety of shit.”

Floyd Mayweather responded that Sadeghi’s KO went viral in a double whammy impact that did not help him increase his profile worldwide.

Will Floyd Mayweather fire his bodyguard?

As already stated, promoter Mayweather will be back in the ring in November and face British YouTuber Deji. Sadeghi is expected to accompany Mayweather during his tenure working for Las Vegas as he is a native more than a protection.

Moreover, he is close to Mayweather and considered a good friend, so his job seems to save him despite not winning. He is a valued member of Mayweather’s team and will continue with his boss for upcoming PPV exhibition contests. And Mayweather cannot forget his debut in Saitama, Japan.

Mayweather has to go for four non-sanction bouts since retiring in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGeorge, 34. He first returned in 2018, against featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 24 in Tokyo, in 2018. Then he went eight-round with YouTuber Logan Paul and ex-sparring partner Don Moore.
